Apple to create its own search engine?

If it has the same level of intelligence as Siri's suggestions and answers, that's gonna be a "no thanks" from me. I often have to verify Siri's info with an additional Google search.

Plus, it would be VERY hard to walk away from $15 Billion in annual revenue from Google to make it the default engine on Apple devices.

I can't imagine Apple would be doing this just to capture people's personal data (where they go, what they buy, what they're interested in). It could already be captured by the device itself, couldn't it?

Maybe they can call it "Apple Core" since it would be at the heart of everything you do. I'm just go ahead and trademark that now.   :)
