Santa baby: Babies in NICU at Women & Infants Hospital get special visit

This holiday season, the tiniest fighters at the Women & Infants Hospital in Providence got a special surprise! Santa himself paid a heartwarming visit to the NICU, spreading joy and love to families spending the holidays in the hospital.

Dressed in his signature red suit, Santa brought gifts, smiles, and a bit of North Pole magic to babies and their loved ones. The touching moments, beautifully captured, remind us of the power of kindness and community during this festive time of year.

For families with little ones in the NICU, this gesture means more than words can express. It’s a reminder that no one is alone, even during challenging times. Kudos to the hospital staff and Santa’s helpers who made this visit possible!

Santa visited families in the NICU at Women & Infants Hospital on Wednesday, helping the babies and their families celebrate their first Christmas. His visit was part of an annual tradition from Project Sweet Peas. The non-profit also donated specially designed holiday costumes, and each family was provided a keepsake photo of their little one from Care New England.
