At Intertek, we believe in making a positive difference in the world.

Today, I want to spotlight our team in Taiwan, who recently participated in an important initiative led by Step30 International Ministries, a charity supporting communities in remote villages across Africa, to donate more than 250 pairs of shoes in all sizes to families in need.

But Step30 initiative Kenya does not just deliver material goods. They also undertake a range of innovative projects such as transforming shipping containers into classrooms and clinics, drilling wells for clean water, and supporting self-reliance through training and local partnerships.

I’m inspired by how our colleagues and their families embraced the opportunity to give back to a local community in need – demonstrating the shared commitment to driving positive change that defines all of us here at Intertek.

This is yet another example of how our amazing people are an incredible force for good in the world. Thank you to Ingrid Yeh from the Taiwan HR team for organising the donation and to the rest of the team and their families for their contributions.
