Learning at Work Week

To mark #LearningAtWorkWeek, I want to highlight how the best leaders recognise that unlocking people’s potential starts with understanding the many ways in which people learn and what sparks their curiosity. Curiosity is a driver of learning, innovation and growth, but it looks different in every individual. Some people are energised by hands-on experiences, others thrive through structured learning, while many develop best through coaching, collaboration or exploration. There is no single formula for growth! Organisations that truly embrace individual learning styles and nurture curiosity create cultures where people feel empowered to grow in ways that work for them. That is how high-performing teams are built - recognising and developing the unique potential within every person.

According to LinkedIn’s latest Workplace Learning Report, 91% of L&D professionals agree that continuous learning is more important than ever for career success. In a fast-changing world, businesses that champion ongoing learning journeys, diversity of thought and personalised development are better positioned to adapt, innovate and create sustainable value. Good leadership is about creating a workplace where different perspectives and learning styles can thrive, because when curiosity is encouraged and development is personalised, people can unleash their full potential.
