Hiring Isn't Enough. Winning the Talent Game Starts With Retention. Here are four ways to future-proof your retention and hiring strategy.

We all know it is critical to hire the best talent possible, however retaining employees should also be at the forefront of every leaders mind. In doing so, you will see higher employee engagement, reduced costs, positive morale, stronger customer experiences as well as improved overall company culture. This takes work from all levels of the organisation.

The longevity of someones career within a company is not enough to measure successful retention. It is the understanding or the temperature check if you will that you need to tap into to actively listen & better understand what your employees are thinking.

What energises them and keeps them motivated or excited to do more, learn more and be more? We could understand this by spending more time doing "stay interviews" rather than "exit interviews".

Often all it takes is to be heard, appreciated, encouraged and pushed to keep that fire alive. A low-cost, yet effective means to creating a loyal and passionate workforce.

62 percent of CEOs say their top concerns are related to people: hiring, retention, development, leadership, and culture. Everyone is looking to hire, because everyone is losing people. But before a leader can increase head count, they must first stabilize head count. Retention has never been more paramount to a company's ability to succeed. Here, a few ways to do it right.
