Few situations are as frustrating as a dead car battery, especially when you're pressed for time. Learning how to jump-start a car is a fundamental skill every driver should have. 

I was fortunate enough to have my Dad teach me when I got my license along with changing a tire. When he was alive, I would still call him to bail me out of these situations but he would make me do it with him to keep it fresh in my mind. I will forever be grateful for that because to this day I can still hear him anxiously saying "Lauren don't let them touch, Lauren don't let them touch, LAUREN do NOT let them touch". LOL!

Don't worry Dad... I hear you... still. :)
