The South Texas Blood and Tissue Center brought the Blood Mobile to Intertek Automotive Research Tuesday, September 12. The Employees kept the two Phlebotomists busy for 5 hours! 19 units of whole blood were collected, which translates to helping 57 patients and possibly saving lives. Thousands of area patients need blood every year. Donors make it possible for patients to fight traumatic injury and cancer.
