Last night in the United States was one of the biggest sports nights of the year. More than 100 million people tuned into the Super Bowl. Because of this huge audience, advertising costs during the game are at their highest- $6.5 million for a 30-second spot. And this year, most of the car companies that bought commercial time had one thing to advertise: their electric cars. BMW, GM, and Kia spent millions on ad space alone (not to mention the cost of the A-list actors they hired for the commercials themselves) to tell us about their new electric vehicles.

So are electric cars finally going to take off in the US? Can Arnold Schwarzenegger convince you to buy one? It will be interesting to find out.
