It isn't always about getting somewhere, sometimes you can stay in exactly the same spot and see and appreciate things you have never seen before just by relaxing and taking it all in.
What better place to do that than to ride a Ferris wheel. As you slowly ascend to the top and descend again, there is a gentle and soothing motion that can be an enjoyable, peaceful break from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
Ferris wheels have been turning for more than 130 years, the first one constructed for the 1893 World's Columbian Exposition in Chicago, designed by George Washington Gale Ferris.
