Being in the summer season, I thought it would be interesting to highlight the progress that municipalities in France's coastal towns have made in recent years to improve access for people with reduced mobility. Although there is still a long way to go (only 5% of beaches have this type of equipment), we can see that the number is growing year on year.

Depuis plusieurs années, la Grande Plage de Quiberon (Morbihan) propose des infrastructures adaptées aux personnes à mobilités réduites. Un tapis de roulement jusqu’à la mer et des fauteuils amphibie disponible gracieusement durant les mois de juillet et août de 13 h à 19 h ont notamment été mis en place.
