Have you ever sat down for a blood test or to donate blood only to have the technician fail repeatedly to find a good vein? They jab and jab, leaving you looking like a black-and-blue pin cushion.

I know this topic makes some people turn their heads. That's ok. For the brave who remain this is an incredible product I discovered via the manufacturer's LinkedIn post (linked below). Am I the last person to find out this is a thing, or is this really a new breakthrough?

It's a "vein finder" and it uses near-infrared light to project onto your skin where the blood is flowing so the technicians can quickly and easily get their jobs done (without discomfort to the patient).

Pardon my childlike giddiness, but THIS IS AMAZING!

There are other manufacturers out there. My quick research took me to this page as well for a different company.

I just can't get over the innovation. It's truly genius. More people need to start their sentences with "What if there was a product that could......"

What a time to be alive, folks.
