Change is always such a fun thing. Some people are going to welcome the fresh coat of paint and others are going to freak out and have a meltdown. You'll quickly know who is who because they will tell you -- over and over and over again how they feel about it. The vast majority of people, however, will just think "ho-hum" and go about their day unphased.

In September, Microsoft will roll out changes to the default themes in their Microsoft 365 package, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook. Essentially the tools we use every day.

The changes might be subtle (new default font, new color palette, new styles), but they will be noticeable if you use the software every day. Tim Dixon recently wrote about the new "Accessible Document templates". Check out his article if you haven't seen it yet. This is just one of the many improvements Microsoft is making with their Productivity suite.

According to Gartner Research, Microsoft's productivity tools such as Office 365 has approximately 90% market share over competitors, including Google. That's a lot of users every day, all around the world.

Enjoy the new update. Be sure to come back and let us know in the comments what you think of the changes.  :-)
