Whenever I need to update my glasses, they always push the blue light filter option when learning I spend a lot of my day on a computer. I've always been led to believe that would help reduce eye strain and headaches. Some even claimed it can help improve your sleep (how, I don't sleep with my glasses on!).
Turns out all that is actually a lie. A new study found that, when compared to regular lenses, blue light glasses don't help with visual performance, protect eyes or boost sleep quality.
For all of the hype surrounding them, blue light glasses have been controversial, with many doctors arguing that they don’t live up to the claims. Now there’s a new study that suggests these glasses don’t do much of anything.
