Whenever I need to update my glasses, they always push the blue light filter option when learning I spend a lot of my day on a computer. I've always been led to believe that would help reduce eye strain and headaches. Some even claimed it can help improve your sleep (how, I don't sleep with my glasses on!).

Turns out all that is actually a lie. A new study found that, when compared to regular lenses, blue light glasses don't help with visual performance, protect eyes or boost sleep quality.
