An interesting study published in Harvard Business Review found that gender inequality isn't down to differences in how men and women behave in the workplace. Prior to the study, many believed that women don't have has many connections to senior management or behave differently, leading to the bias.

The study found that men and women behave the same, but how the women are treated is different. This suggest the bias isn't to do with how women behave, but the preconceptions and bias latent in the organisation.

I consider myself fortunate to work with many amazing women in senior management positions, I will be discussing gender bias with them to understand biases they encounter and how I can be an ally.

What one small step will you take to help make the world more inclusive?
