They went hunting for fossil fuels. What they found could help save the world

White hydrogen, derived from renewable sources like wind and solar power, offers a promising solution to combat climate change. Unlike traditional hydrogen production methods that rely on fossil fuels, white hydrogen production emits zero greenhouse gases. This clean energy source has the potential to revolutionize industries, powering everything from vehicles to heavy machinery without contributing to carbon emissions. As we strive for a more sustainable future, investing in white hydrogen technology is a crucial step towards reducing our dependence on fossil fuels and mitigating the impacts of climate change. It's time to embrace this eco-friendly innovation and pave the way for a greener world.

‘We haven’t been looking in the right places’ “If you had asked me four years ago what I thought about natural hydrogen, I would have told you ‘oh, it doesn’t exist,’” said Geoffrey Ellis, a geochemist with the US Geological Survey. “Hydrogen’s out there, we know it’s around,” he said, but scientists thought big accumulations weren’t possible.
