For me, one of the fun parts of international travel is seeing all the snack items on the shelves that are so different from what I get at home, and in particular the strange (to me) flavors of potato chips. My mind cannot grasp how a flavor such as “Hot Chili Squid” can make it to market, much less taste good!

But behind the vast numbers of tastes and regional sales is a super secretive team of scientists, marketers, and flavor mixologists.
