At Kearney predicts that by 2040, 60% of meat will either be cultured (grown from cells) or plant-based. In some countries, like the UK, it is already mainstream, with a third choosing meat-reduced diets, as vegans and vegetarians (13%) or flexitarians (21%). The question is, why?
