Rabbits move in, penguins die

Many people don't realize the impact of the introduction of seemingly harmless species, certainly our European ancestors in the 1800's didn't when they introduced rabbits to New Zealand. Realizing their mistake only a few years later as populations exploded the early settlers introduced predator's to control the rabbits massively compounding the error.
