AT present, 2.7 million tons of plastic waste are generated in the Philippines each year, an estimated 20 percent of which ends up in the ocean (McKinsey, 2015). According to a study published by the American Association for the Advancement of Science, the Philippines contributes over one-third of the plastic waste found in the ocean.

Avon encourages customers to collect emptied Avon PET bottles and polybags and turn them over to local Avon representatives or drop them at the nearest collection site.
