Intertek San Antonio recently conducted a food drive to help the San Antonio Food Bank with feeding the 120,000 individuals they serve on a weekly basis over 29 counties.  We were able to fill up the back of the company Chevy Tahoe and collect cash donations as well. 

With emails, flyers and a reminder box placed at the employee entrance, employees were encouraged to bring the “12 Most Wanted” items to work with them and place them in the back of the car. 

The Food Bank operates on a 2% overhead with 98% of donated resources going to help set the table for 120,000 individuals each week.  With the generosity and support of businesses, churches, foundations, corporations, government civic groups and individuals they can serve Southwest Texans who are risk for going hungry.
