Intertek IAR team gathered Saturday, February 19, 2022 to participate in the 2022 Annual Basura Bash - a one day all-volunteer event to clean up the San Antonio Watershed. The annual citywide Spring Cleanup that began in 1994, this year saw thousands wade through muddy creeks and along the 13 miles of the San Antonio River gathering trash. The trash collected will be measured in tons and included a wide variety of items. Trash gathered will be sorted for recycling of plastics, paper, and bottles.
There is something amazing about 2,500 people of all ages and from all parts of San Antonio showing up on a Saturday morning to clean up litter.
