Many websites and applications are tested using a mouse, this ensures the application or website functions. However, while the application or website can function fine with a mouse, that same website or application may not work at all with a keyboard. 

Visually Impaired users often use a keyboard to navigate a website or application. One of the best ways to improve the accessibility of your website or application, is to ensure it can be navigated with a keyboard.

Including keyboard navigation testing in the testing routine will significantly improve your application and website, with minimal additional effort.

Adding keyboard testing is a simple and effective way to go above and beyond the norm. Accessibility automation is a great fit for agile environments, but so is keyboard testing.
