If we hear one more person say “the gender pay gap doesn’t exist” we will possibly scream.
It definitely exists(!) and it’s affecting women in every single country in the world.
At the current rate of progress, the World Economic Forum predicts that it will take another 217 years before the gender pay gap finally closes. We’re not keen on waiting another two centuries to achieve equality, so (...calling all grandparents, parents, brothers & sisters) let’s work together on closing the gap. Knowing why a problem is occurring is the first step to achieving change.

‘Blokes’ club still does exist’: New data finds gender pay gap grows as women age | ABC News (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WcplHqZ_5aw)
Australia’s national gender pay gap increased to 14.1 per cent! We've known about the gender pay gap for years. The situation is getting better but there is a long way to go. Women get paid less than their male colleagues and, (sadly) according to new data the gap widens as they age. “In fact the average female chief executive earns $93,000 a year less than her average male counterpart… Men earn more than women at just about every level and in that age group of 55 to 64 men are out earning women by almost 32 percent, an average forty thousand dollars a year so that's quite a big pay gap and that even when women become chief executives, they're getting around about an average ninety three thousand dollars less than their male counterparts.”
