Earth Week, which leads up to Earth Day on 22 April, is an occasion inviting people everywhere to turn their attention to climate change and find their role in climate solutions.

The Earth Day 2023 theme is focused on engaging the more than 1 billion people, governments, institutions, and businesses who participate in Earth Day to recognise our collective responsibility and to help accelerate the transition to an equitable, prosperous green economy for all.

By reframing the conversation to accelerate action, this is within our reach if we work together.

I have been inspired by Jen Gale to take on 23 in '23. As a family we have chosen 23 things from a  big list of over 70 ideas for sustainable(ish) things we can all have a go at, based on Imperial College Londons '9 things you can do about climate change' article and the brilliant work of  Take the Jump. From litter picks around our local park every month, supporting our local refill shop to swapping out car journeys for cycling.

Working out what works for us was key, and it means small tweaks and swaps create change and make a difference.
