When CO2 emissions have been identified as a leading contributor to our global climate crisis, it's strange to hear companies introducing MORE products that are made from carbon dioxide. But the point is that rather than releasing the CO2 gases into the air where it causes damage, they are capturing the gas from the air, removing it (which is good), and making new products with it.
This article shows future uses with food, carpet, concrete, foams for multiple products, diamonds, and even vodka.
CO2 is the main culprit in global warming, in part because it is virtually impossible to produce almost any product without releasing carbon dioxide. But what if products could be created from CO2 instead of releasing it?
