Here are some alternative vegan Christmas dinners you can enjoy with your family this year.

1. Nut roast

Nut roast is a tasty meal that means you don’t miss out on the classic roast element of Christmas. You can use a variety of nuts to make this meal such as cashew nuts, pistachios and more. You can also pair the nut roast with roast potatoes.

2. Vegan chicken roast

It has a similar texture to chicken with vegan chicken. This can be made with, for example, soybeans.

3. Sweet potato parcel

You can have it as a centrepiece and enhance the flavours with sage and chestnuts.

4. Vegan Christmas wreath

You can bake it with green vegetables like spinach and red fruits like cranberries, to link in with festive colours of the season. Tofu can be the filling of the edible wreath to ensure you are filled up by the end of the meal.

5. Vegan pie

You can also layer the pie with other fillings including celery, and sweet potato. This way you know you will be pleasantly filled.

6. Whole roasted cauliflower

If you want another option for a vegan Christmas roast meal, a roasted cauliflower could do the trick. To enhance the flavour, season it well with garlic, fresh thyme, almonds and any other spices you are a fan of.

7. Pan-fried Brussels Sprouts with Tofu Bacon

Instead of boiling them, why not pan-fry your brussels sprouts  to give them more of a crispy and crunchy feel? Having the brussels sprouts with tofu bacon strips and caramelised onions can give more of a sweetness to this dish too.
