The wonders of winter walking. Good for the mind, body and soul.

Yes, it may require you to add few more layers but there are many wonderful joys of walking outdoors, or even hiking, during the winter months. I, for one, appreciate the way the sunlight looks, and feels, different. With leaves off the trees and ground cover asleep for the winter there are new and often unexpected things you'll notice if you look around. Plus, the air just feels cleaner. 

And what better excuse do you need to grab a mug of hot chocolate?

Walking is a great way to break up your day and boost your mood. Even if it feels cold outside, you can still find joy in a winter walk.
