Every year, we at Intertek in Geleen, Netherlands, nominates a charity to support. This year, we chose the Nature Aid Center and raised funds for it. Peter Martens nominated the Nature Aid Center, saying, "After visiting this wildlife rescue center, we were very impressed. There are many suffering animals in the world, and this center cares for them and finds them new homes." The Nature Aid Center needs donations for more housing and to modernize facilities like surgery rooms and feeding kitchens.
 
At the Christmas lunch, we share heartfelt reasons for supporting chosen charities. We believe in making personal connections with the charities we support, adding additional value to our contributions. After weeks of fundraising, we presented a generous donation of €10,000 to Yentl Nijs from the Nature Aid Center on Feb 2nd. Yentl expressed gratitude and announced a dedicated open day for Intertek Polychemlab employees.
 
With around 200 employees at our location we are proud of our giving spirit and the additional value we bring to our charitable efforts.
