You may notice that Intertek Hong Kong has launched STEM Toy Mark program in 2019.  The objective is to create an eco-system for toy manufacturers, education sector and community in terms of toys selling, STEM education and fun.

We are working hard in STEM education in Hong Kong.  We are so pleased to contribute to the community through many channels, hand-in-hand & step by step.  Recently, we helped a local primary school to get some Government funds organizing STEM events.  We introduced animal puzzles with Augmented Reality (AR), toys with simple circuits, animal chess which got our STEM Toy Marks.

We partnered with a famous STEM educationist and facilitator – STEM Sir (Patrick Tang), who is also the Chairman of iSTEM Ed Association conducting a webinar to the teachers in Sung Tak Wong Kin Sheung Memorial School.  We introduced to them the foundation of STEM concepts, and the upcoming STEM events, and let them know how to incorporate them into current curriculum.  Positive feedback from teachers is well received.  We will continue to support them on other STEM events.

The COVID-19 pandemic has changed education forever. With schools shut across the world, millions of children have had to adapt to new types of learning. We will continue to strive to engage in the education sector and bring safety, quality and sustainability to the children’s life, especially under the New Normal.

Let’s build back ever better!
