Use your senses to calm your mind and reduce anxiety

We can't always control the things that are happening around us in the world, but we CAN control how we react to them and how we let them affect our mental state. The 5-4-3-2-1 technique can bring some peace and clarity to an otherwise stressful and anxious time. Remember - be kind to your mind. 

The 54321 method is effective because it calms the mind. Studies have shown that a calm mind is an effective mind.
